ROADTRIP DIARY DAY II.

DAY II.

CALPE – TABERNAS

The alarm woke us up at 6.15 A.M. Perhaps the seagulls did, as they were already screaming quite loudly. After setting the car up again, we drove to where the path would lead us to the very top of Mount Peñón de Ifach. On the last bit, we entered very rocky and uneven terrain where lots of seagulls flew close over our heads….seemingly friendly nevertheless.

Minutes later, we arrived just in time for one of the most beautiful sunrises we’ve ever seen. We tried to find the right balance between taking photos and also taking the time to really enjoy this scenery.

ARRIVING IN TABERNAS

After climbing down Mount Peñón de Ifach, we got back on the road again to head for Granada. We passed through a stunning desert, Tabernas. The sun was already setting so we just took the nearest exit and ran up one of the hills closest to the road.

The camera battery was already running low.. we forgot to charge it after being completely stunned by today’s morning in Calpe. so we quickly tried to get in some shots.
